I live in California, but born in Detroit I was at game because my Wifey bought a ticket because I was going to be in the Motor City for Christmas. This is what the coaching staff need to do, that is play more aggressive, we play to conservative, we don't blist enough, and we need to protect our quarterback more than we do. I'm a truck driver and i've. Being to several game on the road. I will say this Jim needs to stop making unnecessary decision when we have a chance to win the game. And this go for all the coaching. Staff!!!... good luck next season. Much love Motown...

I am not a Detroit Lions fan, but came to watch the Vikings, Favre, and AP play. I was very impressed with Ford Field, all the facilities and the Lions staff as hosts. Even with a struggling football team, the event is worth going to. You'll have a great time in an awesome facility.

Besides the Lions playing as usual. Losing. The traffic was awful, parking in ford field deck not worth it and the price for the ticket to see the lions lose. All I can say is stay home and watch it on t.v. if you must watch them. Rude people and 1 hour 45 minutes to go 1 mile on 75 to exit 51 C. You need to be in the Detroit area at least 3-4 hours before game time or prepare yourself for the worst. I have never met so many rude people in the detroit area. You would think they would be happy for people to come there and spend their money with the city of detroit having as much unemployment as they do. I say never again. go see the tigers play. Parking is much easier, traffic is better and they usually win!!

Great seats, great views, too bad it was of the Lions, although it was a good first half. The "all you can eat" was pretty good. Only complaint was there should have been more selections (pizza, pretzels, burgers). But overall got our money's worth.

Good value if you have kids. You can get hotdogs, brats, popcorn, nachos and drinks. We had great seats 6 rows from the field. Section 121. We parked at Greektown and walked down.

Just as it's been for the past thirty years, the Detroit Lions have again managed to play just 45 minutes of a 60 minute game. For three quarters they entertained the fans before resorting to the same, time honored tradition of yielding to a superior team. As for their offensive firepower, it was up to expectations or as the Vikings might say, Yeah, they ran the plays we expected and that's how it was so easy for us to intercept three balls and hold the rushing attack to so few yards. I believe the Minneapolis Press said it best back in the old Barry Saunders days - we'll key on the draw play to Saunders. That matched up exactly to the Detroit News report that said, The Lions are planning to use their special weapon, the draw play to Saunders as a surprise feature in the game. Predictable? Yes, to both the fans, the odds makers, and their opponent. Perhaps with just a little creative play calling they might manage a couple wins this year, but only if they choose to break from tradition and actually try to surprise anyone. But it is a nice stadium!

It was awesome! We had a fabulous time. My children gave me the tickets as a retirement gift. I have been working 24/7 for the past 30 years and never took time for myself. Since, I retired this past spring it has been great reconnecting with my family and experiencing life. Watching the game in person far exceeded my wildest dreams. Especially, being able to see my team win! Go Vikings!!

From ordering the tickets to leaving the stadium was a pleasant experience, easy and stressfree ticket purchase. I am not a Detroit fan so I did not really care who won. My girlfriend on the other hand was not happy that they lost, but was like a kid going to a candy store the whole day since it was her first footbal game. Thanks for making our trip enjoyable.

Ford Field is a beautiful sport venue, but for $50 a ticket, (the cheap seats), there should have been more. The half-time show was little kids football teams scrimmaging, which is entertaining for their parents, but not much for the rest of the crowd. There was no entertainment between quarters, or during time-outs. The video scoreboard could have had more on it than the pictures of the teams helmets, repeated over and over and over.... Not too many give-aways - oh yeah, we got a magnet with the team schedule on the way out.

Good 1st half, then the Lions fell apart. Was hard trying to explain to my 10 year old daughter why we kept seeing women fighting. Very embarrassing for all involved. Ford Field is 1st class - I just can't wait for the day we walk out of there with a smile on our face because we won the game!!

For a pre-season game its was a good game. First string played at least half the game and when the second string came in to play it was still good to watch. Ford Field is a good place to watch a game. We happen to be in section 101 in the lower corner and still have a good view of the field when the ball was down at our end. When it wasn't, the large screen TV at each end of the field provided a good picture of the plays.

The Lions appear to be the same sub par team as always. All three quarterbacks looked decent, with stanton being the better of the three. It was nice to go to a game where the Lions won , even if it was preseason. Anyway, Ford Field is a top notch stadium and it is hard not to have a good time there.

This was my first NFL Game ever and even though I'm not a football fan and I don't really know any of the rules, the experience was amazing. So sad to say that the LIons lost and this season doesn't look to promising. Looking forward to my next game.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I WAS EVER AT A EVENT THAT HAD ALL YOU CAN EAT. I THOUGHT THAT IT WASN'T ORGANIZE ENOUGH, I WAS THE FIRST IN LINE 11:00AM SO AT THAT TIME IT WASN'T BAD. THE NEXT TIME UP THEY ONLY HAD TWO SERVERS AT THE COUNTER EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T A LONG LINE THINKING WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN ITS BUSY. THE BRAKWORST WAS NOT VERY TASTY AND THE HOT DOG WAS SMALL ( WHAT EVER HAPPEN TO THE BALL PARK DOG ), HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO GET FOUR ITEMS AT ONCE OR ALL THE SAME. I STILL WOULD RECOMMEND THE PACKAGE IF YOU LIKE TO EAT CHEAPER THEN PAYING REG. PRICE AT THE OTHER STANDS. THE LIONS WHAT COULD I SAY EXCEPT THAT THE LOCATION OF THE SEATING WAS NICE, I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE FIELD AND THE BIG SCREEN WHEN NEEDED.

Great game.....havent been to a Lions game in years. Felt good to see the Lions win for once in awhile. People were cool. Only bad thing is people get too drunk and touchy sometimes and try to sit in your seats when u step away.. Even in a snowstorm, the Lions sent the people happy. Dope.

The divisional playoff game with the MN Vikings was my first ever pro football game. I had a FANTASTIC time. Seats were not as small as some other venues but a tad bigger wouldn't hurt. Restroom's were clean and stocked. Personnel was constantly monitoring conditions. Good food venues. Four or five different types of food stations (that I saw). My food was good and price was acceptable. Of course, souvenirs were overpriced and not enough of the featured items were available but...... All in all I will go again. It was one of the best times I've had. :)

I didn't really know what to expect from the Inaugural Taste of the Lions...but local chefs serving their best dishes, delicious adult beverages AND meet and greets with the Detroit Lions players, it was definitely a no brainer that I wanted to attend this event. The ticket is a bit pricey, but like I mentioned above, you get unlimited food, drink and entertainment. And it always helps that it is for an amazing cause! Also got a complimentary tote bag, plate and wine glass. I surprised my boyfriend (a HUGE Lions fan) for his birthday by taking him to this event. Best idea ever! He is still talking about all the players he met, the awesome conversation he had with Coach Schwartz and of course, the amazing local food. I really hope that this becomes an annual event for the Lions because we will absolutely be attending every year...might even have a new birthday tradition :) If you get a chance next year to attend, do it! The event was a blast and it felt good to give back to our beautiful city of Detroit!

This was a very unique experience. The food and drinks were excellent and all of the players, past and present, were very friendly and extremely gracious. My only disappointment was not having met Stafford and Johnson. I did not know I had to pay extra before I got there with general admission tickets. If I had, I would have purchased the VIP tickets. Despite this, I had a wonderful time and can't wait for next year!

I've been to stadiums all over the US and Ford Field is definitely tops in my book. The stadium is beautiful and it's an absolute joy to take off your jacket and sit down after 4 hours of tailgating in the cold of November and December. While the home side of the stadium is dominated by the Lions Pro shop and standard stadium fare, the visitors side has tons of food and drink options, including craft beers, cocktails, Detroit's famous coney dogs, Thai chile burger, Singapore chicken skewers, and lamb gyros. The fanbase, while loud, is very friendly and always up for a good time. In the many years I've been going to Lions games, I have never once seen the kind of fighting and loutish behavior that I've seen at other stadiums (worst offenders being Soldier Field and Sun Life Stadium in Miami). Definitely ok to bring the kids to a Lions game.

Probably not a bad sight line in the stadium,, we were in club section on 20 yard line seats were padded back and bottom but those of us 6 ft and taller, had our knees right into the seat backs of those in front of ours. Much tighter than I imagined. Not sure the extra $ for these was worth it, next time will just get lower arena seats at cheaper price

Overall this experience was great. The stadium is beautiful. We had good seats and the people around us (Bears and Lions fans alike) were pleasant. Be prepared to spend some mooney once you arrive. As with most stadiums beers and mixed drinks wee $8-$9 a pretzel was $6. Parking was $50. I tried to arrive 2 hours early as I needed handicappef parking for my dad. We ran into traffic trying to exit the highway and sat for an hour. Nothing more frustrating than being able to see the stadium but not get to it. We barely made it in time for kick off at 1:00. The last time I went I was able to purchase parking in the parking deck at the time that I purchased my tickets, this time I did not get that option. Becasue we lost an hour in traffic and I did not have a parking pass we were not able to park in the deck.

It was pretty smooth getting in and out of the stadium. No major problems. Some rude people, but nothing major. Parked in the Fox Theter parking structure for $30. Ford Field is a nice stadium. We had club seats and they were nice and comfy. Wish there was more leg room, but that is too much to ask in a stadium I know. The Lions sucked as usual, but we got to see Calvin Johnson break Jerry Rice's record, so that was the highlight of the whole game honestly. I bought these tickets the day the individual tickets went on sale in July/2012 and they were EXPENSIVE and the product was NOT worth what I spent, but oh well.

I started a tradition of taking my Grandson to the Lions Thanksgiving game. For some reason he looks forward to our day at the game. He is now five and this was our fourth Turkey Day game. At the end of the third quarter my Grandson turned and said, "Can we go home the Lions stink." I couldn't have agreed more. Besides the bad football we got a bad halftime show, a singer who forgot the Star Spangled Banner and entertainment that consisted six guys running around the field with flags and va olunteer drumline. The Lions have historically put a "crummy" product together for their fans, who must not know any better, and they should be embarassed by their lack of imagination. At least they have the worn out Dunkin Donuts races to watch. "Same of Lions."

The Lions Vs. Packers game was so much fun, we had excellent seats, the stadium was beautiful, well kept, and warm! We didn't have to wait long to get inside, and it was easy to find everything we possibly could have needed to. The only issue there was during the game was overly-drunken ridiculous men who we really have no control over...but in the end they were removed by security for interrupting the experience for others, so it was even awesome that they kept watch on that and took care of problems like that, even if it did take them till the fourth quarter!!! Lol...Super fun, I'd recommend it to anyone, and look forward to going again and again!

Amazing! Outstanding job by the entire team, well done! I'm a die-hard fan and constantly go head to head with the guys at work on this being the Lions turnaround season! I knew St. Louis was going to be a win for us, even said so on Calvin Johnson's blog on FB! Proud to be a fan and to have been there to see such an awesome game. I can't wait for the next game!

Went to watch the lions with my husband for his birthday. Had a blast. Probably because the lions kicked butt, and won their first game of the season. Loved it.

I had a wonderful time and my family enjoyed themselves too!! Great seats and picking up my tickets at will call was cool! QB Michael Vick of the Eagles played well and the Lions looked good too! Philly won! Great game!!

Wow! The game was awesome! The Bears won 37-23. Of course, we are Bears fans and this was the first NFL game we had been to, but the whole atmosphere was electric! Ford Field is awesome! It a very nice facility and all the people there were very kind. We sat 17 rows from the field in the All You Can Eat Seats and it was such a good deal, we were very close to the field and didn't have to worry about bringing extra money to pay for food, since it was included. We will definitely visit Ford Field again!

It seems that we're playing just enough to kinda stay in the game. WE NEED TO DRAFT A LINE! Watching Dante getitng sacked 7 times (...including 3 times in a row) was embarassing. The Steeler Nation showed up in full force and I have to say that they were a VERY well behaved group. Thanks Pittsburgh fans for showing the CLASSY side of being out-of-town fans.

Great game. the Lions played hard and with continued effort will turn out to be a great team. When you are playing the Steelers, it's tough to win. Go Steelers!!!!!

My son and I attended our first LIONS GAME this past Sunday. It was great and they even won!!!! I had purchased the "all you can eat seats" and thought it was well worth it! When I first saw how long the line was for the food I got a little concerned. We didn't wait long at all (maybe 10-15 minutes). I would honestly purchase this package again.

My Son & I attended the Detroit Lions game on Sunday September 27th, 2009 vs the Washington Redskins. Boy did we get a wonderful surprise of their first victory since 2007. They actually played like a football team and Matthew Stafford was at the helm of it all. This what our city of Detroit and Michigan need during our time of recession in our state..a team that won't give up! Go Lions!!!

Both artists were outstanding and enjoyed the songs they selected, plus the fact that we could order some drinks right off to the side I thought that was the BEST part of the experience! I wish more people would have come to it because if they do this next year I'll definitely take a day off to come see!!! Way to go Coach! Thank you!

We had an absolutly ammmaaaazzziiinnng time at the coaches kick off! There aren't words to express the amount of fun our family had together at this event. We have always been HUGE Lions fans, but this just increased that 10 fold. Meeting with the players, getting to talk with them, interact with them and then watch them practice just made us love them more! It was an fantastic idea! Thank you so very much for such a wonderful memory for our family!meet m

Ford Field/Lions did not have enough staff to man this event. It took over 25 minutes to get through the line to gain entry for the autograph session that lasted 45 minutes. Very disappointing...

We didn't stay for the concert so I can't tell u anything about that. The best part for us was taking pictures and getting autographs from 10 of the players during the 45 min. autograph session! Hanson and Broyles were among the signatures we nabbbed! It was also great to watch the players practice their drills up close. Since it wasn't exactly a sold-out crowd (not by far) we had very nice GA seats-down low in the end zone. Titus Young even did a Lambo Leap into the stands a couple times! We got in line at the gate at about 4pm. Gates didn't open 'til 5. The waiting wasn't fun but at least we were at G, the shady side of the bldg at that time of day. Once we got inside and saw all the players, we forgot all about the wait! Just a great time all around-no concert needed!

First off it took forever to get in because security is patting everyone down. They do this as games as well. I understand the need for security but Comerica park doesn't do a full pat down at every event. If the lions feel it's a needed at lest find a way to speed it up. 2nd , people who had been standing in line for a long time were turned away for autographs. Again I understand the need to keep a schedule however if you are going to close line down then at least let those in line finish. Don't turn them away. Last the event needs to be desribed better. I paid premium price for up close tickets only to find out this only applied to the concert. I was'nt interested in the concert and didn't even attend it. I could have paid the cheaper price.

The meet and greet with the players was awesome! Couldn't have asked for anything better. The practice was exactly that a practice with several drills going on at once and no pads. Not much 11v11 going on like I had hoped for though.

I was unable to get a lot of autographs because i wasn't a ble to get into the building until 5:20 even though I was in line at 4:00. You must come up with a better and earlier way to get the fans into the building BEFORE the players are at their signing station.

Affordable, family freindly event that was quite exciting for Lions fans, as well as, country music fans. My only complaint was that the doors opened at 5PM (coinciding with the brief autograph sessions) and it took 35 minutes to get through security check points and into the stadium. By the time we did, all the autograph booths were closed. This was very disappointing. However, I really hope this becomes an annual event!

Football fans looking to make a connection with the lions organization and paid the extra money but was disappointed and ripped off. First the outside line was so unorganized that people were moving gates to budge in line and the security cop did nothing, to the screaning at the door took an unacceptable amount of time. It took 20 to 25 minutes to get In the door which left 20 min or less to get autographs, which was more unorganized because the numbers were not in any order. Next we find seats to watch practice and could not hear or understand the announcers. Afterword stood in line to get to our floor seats to find out that there were no floor seats and then they opened it to the entire croud. Why did I pay the extra money, if everyone was allowed on the floor

Doors opened at 5:00 PM (Two doors only) total pat down, by time we got in it was 6:30 PM, Autograph session was done missed out on this. This is what I get for waiting from 4:00 PM They need to open up at 4:00 PM to support all the Lion fans that wanted autographs. Very disappointed with this event. Not to organized !
